BMW Engine Timing Tool Kit LRT-12-223-KIT, Alt.

Timing tool kit for the M60/62 Vanos & Non-Vanos engine fitted to BMW and Range Rover & Morgan Aero 8. Modern Interference engines allow pistons and valves to make contact due to timing belt and change issues. This can result in significant damage to both pistons and valves¸ which can result in necessary and expensive rebuild procedures.

  • Applications: BMW M62 VANOS & Non-VANOS engine.
  • Also covers M60 | M62.
  • Covers engines fitted to 4.4 Range Rover (2003-2005).

This doesn't include the LRT-12-223/5¸ /6¸ /7¸ or /8. If you need those pieces¸ you'll need our other tool kit AM-LRT-12-223¸ without the "-KIT" at the end of the SKU. Depending on the job that you're doing you may need both kits because both kits contain parts the other one doesn't. The contents are clearly listed in the applications.
