Detroit Diesel J-45947 & J-45946 60 Series Cam Gear & Crankshaft Alignment Tool Kit Alt

Direct replacement for Camshaft Gear Alignment Fixture OEM parts number J45946, J-456946 or OTC 5882 and Crank Adjustment pin J-45947.

This tool set was designed for Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines 12.7L and 14L commonly used in trucks, boats, power generators, fire and emergency vehicles and mining equipment.

Our tool ONI242T properly aligns the cam gear during camshaft assembly installation. Simply use the pin on the tool to fit into the cam timing hole for proper alignment.

Use ONI176T to ensure proper crank alignment while checking camshaft timing and servicing. The pin will drop into the crankshaft locating hole, placing the No. 1 cylinder at top-dead-center (TDC).
