Description

Kent-Moore CH-51999-A Cradle Bushing Replacer

Application: 2016-later Volt, Cruze suspension

The cradle used on Volt is aluminum, and the cradle bushing has a plastic body, while the gen II Cruze cradle is steel, with a steel-cased bushing. The bushing tool from Cruze (CH-51404-EU) does not fit the Volt cradle or bushing, and can damage the bushing if it is used for installing the bushing.

The bushing must be indexed, and has a tapered wall-thickness from top left to bottom right. The bushing indexing is aided by two protruding bumps on the bushing body. Two alignment protrusions must be seated into notched areas in the cradle body to ensure proper alignment.

CH-51999-A includes a driver, receiver and bushing guide to ensure the bushing is installed correctly for the designed ride characteristics, and to the correct position.

CH-51999-A is used with CH-50342 to replace the bushing.

Manufacturer: SPX/Bosch (OTC Rotunda Kent-Moore Miller)
