Kent-Moore DT-48877 Protector, L/S Seal

The 218 mm ring gear Rear Drive Module (RDM) in Camaros uses a wheel drive shaft not previously used in GM vehicles. The splines on the wheel driveshaft will also nick or damage the RDM output seal duting wheel driveshaft installaion. DT-48877 prevents damage to the sealing lips. DT-48877 is placed into the seal, and the wheel driveshaft fits through its center. DT-48877 is split on top to allow it to be removed once the splines are safely through the seal
