Malibu Eco, Chevrolet Volt, Buick LaCrosse eAssist, Battery System
EL-48264 is a square tube bar with holes at each end for lifting rods. The rods thread into lifting points on the eAssist vehicle battery pack tray. Wing nuts and washer attach the rods to the lift bar. The adapter lifting eye and rod holes are positioned so the pack is lifted at its center of gravity. Using a floor crane / cherry picker, the battery pack can be securely supported as it is lifted and removed or installed in the vehicle. Rubber pads along the bottom of the bar tighten against the pack for solid contact and secure attachment.
