Kent-Moore J-08614-20 Output Flange Retaining Bolts

Applications: 2010 Camaro with Tremec Transmission

The rear flange must be removed to service the rear output seal. The flange nut is installed to 136 N-m (100 lb-ft), and the flange must be held to remove and install the nut.

The flange has a raised lip, and requires J-08614-20 Retaining Bolts and previously Essential J-08614-A Flange Retainer and Remover to be used to remove and torque the nut.

Both bolts from J-08614-20 are installed through the body of J-08614-A into the flange. Once the nut is removed, J-08614-2 Remover Adapter (included with J-08614-A) is installed into the body of J-08614-A, and tightened against the output shaft to draw the flange off of the shaft. The flange must be drawn off the shaft evenly to prevent excess loading of the shaft bearings.
