This three-piece tool installs and compresses the solid Teflon seals in the 6T70 transaxle without cutting or nicking the outside sealing edges.

  • GM-46620-3 is a cone-shaped protector that prevents the seal's inner surface from contacting the sharp edges of the input shaft sealing ring grooves during installation.
  • GM-46620-2 pushes each seal down over the input shaft, allowing the seal to drop into its ring groove.
  • Once the solid seals are installed, the GM-46620-1 Sizer compresses them so the input housing will fit over them during reassembly without damaging them.
