Kent-Moore J-46620 Fluid Seal Ring Installation Set Tool

Application: Malibu, Cadillac XTS

This three piece tool is used to install and compress the solid Teflon seals in the 6T70 transaxle without cutting or nicking the outside sealing edges.

  • J-46620-3 is a cone shaped protector that keeps the seal inner surface from contacting the sharp edges of the input shaft sealing ring grooves during installation.
  • J-46620-2 pushes each seal down over the input shaft and allows the seal to drop into its respective ring groove.
  • Once the solid seals are installed, the J-46620-1 Sizer compresses the seals so the input housing will fit over the seals during reassembly without damaging them.
