The rear crankshaft seal is a single-piece seal, which must be installed squarely, and flush to the rear of the block. The seal is placed onto the pilot of J-42067-A, and the assembly is attached to the rear face of the crankshaft, and secured. The handle of J-42067-A is tightened against the installer cover, until the seal is fully seated. Unapproved methods will result in less than desired seal performance.
