OTC 4623 CV Joint Banding Tool and Cutter.

Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on CV joint boots, or on power steering rack and pinion steering gear boots. Once installed into the tool, tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool; use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band to OE specifications.

When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs, cut the band to the correct length by flipping the lever (at the front of the tool) forward.

Mack Truck King Pin Cap Removal Sockets Tool Kit Alternative

This Kingpin Socket tool kit is a direct replacement to OEM parts number J-44004, OTC 5053, CTA 5044 and 11-3000.

Removes and installs thrust bearing adjustment screws on 10500 lb, 12000 lb, 16000 lb, 18000 lb, and 20000 lb axles on Mack diesel trucks.

Includes:

  1. 1-7/8" Cap Removal Tool for 10500 and 12000 lb. axles
  2. 2-3/8" Cap Remover Tool for 16000, 18000 and 20000 lb axles.

This new design reduces the camming action created by torque and keeps the tool fully engaged in the adjusting screw when removing and installing the cap. May be used with a 1/2 inch square drive ratchet or breaker bar.
