J&J Tool Model 2016 Universal Joint Puller Kit Without Metric but with an extra set of 3/8" ends.

After over 7 years of designs, development and testing J & J tool Co., Inc. has come forth with totally unique concept in disassembling heavy-duty Rockwell and Spicer universal joints. Our tool has proved to be cost effective, reliable, safe and easy to use. It is capable of over 7 tons of non-slip pulling power.

SPEED - The J & J U - Joint Puller requires about half the time in set-up and use when compared to other pullers. Even more time is saved when compared to other methods such as hammering and jacking. The
J & J U - Joint Puller needs fewer steps, fewer parts, has no "moving joints" which is what causes the application of other pullers to be awkward and time consuming. With the
J & J U - Joint Puller you need only to: remove two cap screws, screw in the alignment studs, place the cables around the cross, and you are ready to pull. IT SAVES YOU TIME, SO IT SAVES YOU MONEY!

SAFE -The J & J Puller provides a no-slip pull because it is securely bolted to the yoke and other pulls upon itself. Unfortunately, other methods can and have caused injury by slipping off.

DURABILITY - The J & J Puller is made to withstand countless use and abuse, even a 1/2 impact wrench, will not damage the Puller if used according to the J&J instructions. The pull plate, push plate and main screw are made of high carbon steel machined to our specifications. Then they are case hardened. All the alignment studs and ends are made from grade 8 bolts also machined to our specifications. The cables are made of galvanized aircraft rope, 3/16" - 7 x 19, with stainless steel swadged shank and ball. In a certified laboratory test the J&J Puller withstood over 18,000# of pressure. ALL MADE IN NORTH AMERICA! THIS 4 1/2lb. TOOL CAN PULL OVER 7 TONS!

PREVENTS DAMAGE - Other methods used to remove universal joints place the main thrust of pulling power onto the bearings and the bearing surfaces. This will frequently result in damage to the bearings during the removal from the truck and the bearing surfaces during the disassembly outside of the truck. This damage can go unnoticed which could cause even further problems during the usual operation of the universal. In contrast the J & J tool pulls on cables that are being looped around the cross. This causes the cross to push the bearing assembly out of the yoke from the bottom. AT NO TIME DOES ANY PART OF THE J&J U - JOINT PULLER TOUCH BEARING SURFACES OR PUT PRESSURE ON THE BEARINGS. IT SAVES PARTS SO IT SAVES MONEY!

REASSEMBLY - The J & J Puller can also be used to perfectly realign the baring cap during reassembly. By placing the alignment studs through the bearing cap and into the yoke, the tool will push the cap back into place. This eliminates the need to hammer on the bearing assembly plate and the possibility of damage in doing so.

ECONOMICAL - Not only do you save on labor but also AT NO TIME DOES THE J&J UNIVERSAL PULLER PUSH OR PULL ON BEARING SURFACES. NO DAMAGE IS DONE TO THE U-JOINT OR COSTLY COMPONENTS.
