Kent-Moore EL-47729 Passenger Seat Weight Set.

EL-47729 consists of a set of (3) 10 kilogram weights (22 lb) that are used to calibrate the Passenger Presence System (SIR). A total weight of 30 kilograms is placed on the seat to re-calibrate the system after a variety of service procedures are performed including; complete seat, seat frame or seat cover replacement.

The system must also be re-calibrated after an accident occurs and the passenger side air bag deploys. The individual 10 kilo weights feature a heavy nylon bag filled with stainless steel shot with a tolerance of (.01 kilo).
