This tool is used to remove the filters on the 1K/2K family of transmissions and can be utilized to remove the filters on the EP 40/50 transmissions.

J-45023-A has been classified by Allison Transmission as an Essential Maintenance & Overhaul Tool servicing the following product lines:

  • 1000/2000 Series
  • H40/50 EP

Control Main Filter Wrench (The J45023 has been superseded to a J45023-A.)

NOTE: Both the J45023 and the J45023-A will work on the 1k/2k Product Families but only the J45023-A will work with the H 40/50 EP Product Families.
