Kent-Moore J-46390 Mercedes Benz MBE900 Rear Crankshaft Seal Installer

While working on the Mercedes MBE900, the J-46390 is used to install the rear crankshaft seal to the correct position.

Do not lubricate the crankshaft rear oil seal. Be sure to inspect the flywheel contact surface and replace if damaged.

Place the oil seal in place with the J-46390 insuring even pressure on the drive handle. Inspect sealing lip on the radial seal to insure proper installation. Install flywheel using locating dowels for placement.

Always refer to your repair manual for most up-to-date procedure.
